LINDA CERVON
Secretary
Linda Cervon is, was, and always will be an
artist. Fine art and computer graphic design are
her areas of expertise. Recently she has designed
and produced a 5-volume set of books based on her late
husband’s magic tricks, as well as having designed
other books and newsletters, posters, menus, brochures,
business cards, etc.
For ten years she worked as a gallery cel painter for
Warner Brothers. That job ended when the process
was moved to Asia. Linda then reinvented herself as an
out-of-print bookseller on the Internet.
She is an avid collector of ephemera (vintage greeting
cards and postcards); and has the distinction of having
the world’s largest Disneyland (California) collection.
Stereo (3D) photography, knitting, and gardening are a
few of her interests.
A native of Southern California, Linda grew up in a
house designed by
mid-century modern architect-designer Charles
Eames. Her association with Ray and Charles Eames, who
were neighbors, has shaped how she’s seen art and the
world since she was seven years old.
Sealed With A Wish has been therapeutic for Linda on a
personal level as it gave her the opportunity to give
back in a small, unrelated way to all the caregivers
who looked after and tried to save her husband, Bruce,
when he had cancer in 2007.
Linda’s eight-year-old granddaughter, Eloise, is
learning to give back too. She helps pack the boxes
that SWAW sends abroad and has been active in getting
her classmates to create special holiday greeting cards
to be included in the packages.
