Maurice Newman is an associate at a major Los Angeles law firm. A member of the California State Bar since 1985, he has proven his ability to negotiate and strategize complex legal transactions. Maurice also has extensive litigation experience in matters involving insurance coverage and bad faith disputes as well as cases involving insurance agents’ and brokers’ malpractice, and business litigation matters. He is an Arbitrator-Mediator for the Los Angeles County Superior Courts having heard over 200 arbitrations.

A long-time magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts, Maurice serves as Assistant Secretary to the organization’s Board of Directors. He also serves as a member of the Ethics and Grievances Committee.
